OEM Style Tophats
On most Honda/Acura chassis, the top of the strut is bolted directly to a factory shock mount, AKA a ‘top hat.’ This OEM piece allows the whole damper assembly to be mounted through the shock tower. Over the years, the factory top hat can start to rust & corrode, and the tophat bushings wear out over time allowing excess play.
The MPC Billet OEM Style Tophats are an upgrade for worn out factory tophats, and are also a great option for those who've purchased aftermarket suspension and do not wish to re-use the old factory tophats. MPC Billet Tophats include new Energy Suspension bushings, and work with both OE style & aftermarket shocks.
